Chef J Mark Hand
As the founder of Hospitality on Hand, I promise to bring the skills which I have learned from over 30 years in the Hospitality Industry, to work for you on every event or project.
As a Chef, I am proud to say that I have worked in many of the areas finest establishments. 
Going way back you may remember a great little spot called the ”Auberge Suisse”. That is truely where it all began. Apprenticing and eventually years later, managing what many people considered the start of Niagara’s great restaurant scene.
Responsible for much of the planning leading to the opening of “On the Twenty” , the areas first winery restaurant was a great challenge. It was there with a budding young Superstar Chef named Michael Olson that Niagara Cuisine was developed.
“Kat’s Fourth Avenue” was next. The high end Steak House and Wine Bar was an instant hit, garnering rave reviews in both Buffalo and Toronto publications. However the world of education called and it was time to move on to the next phase of my career.
A ten year run as Executive Chef at Niagara College culminated with the design and opening of the Niagara Culinary Institute. Over the course of those ten years an amazing team of chefs were assembled. That team continues to educate the next wave of chefs that will take over the stoves in Niagara and around the world.
So here we are, phase three! “Hospitality on Hand”.
